Wendy's in New Jersey

"Not all Wendy's are the same. This one is just so well run. I'm here pretty much once a week with my son. The staff are so friendly. They actually know our order so they enter it as we walk up. It's so nice to see people who are friendly. The food here is exceptionally well done. There are times when I have to wait for my burger to cool down a bit before I can eat it. THAT's how fresh it is. I have gone to other Wendy's in Manhattan lately and the quality there is NOT at all like it is here. Just an all around pleasure to go here. Everyone here deserves the highest praise. Give the staff big fat raises, please!"

"Edit: We've now gone to this Wendy's two or three times since my initial review a few years ago. Each time has been progressively better, which speaks highly of the efforts that management has made to improve their customer service. Many fast food restaurants completely fail in this aspect, but I was very impressed with the staff tonight. Everybody seemed happy, friendly, and willing to help. On top of that, everything was clean and well-stocked. We went in with a group of about 20 people, and we were all served very efficiently and accurately. It's so encouraging to see a business make extra efforts to serve the local community! I highly recommend this Wendy's and look forward to our next visit! (Initial review from 2023) The food was good but that's about the only positive thing I could find. The drink machine was out of service, the bin for straws and 2 or 3 other utensils were empty and on top of that, it was a hot day and the AC was barely on. While the temperature didn't bother me much at all, it seemed to greatly bother the woman taking orders. Or maybe something else was bothering her. It was clear to me & my friend that she didn't want to be there - and maybe she had a recent family tragedy or something else of a depressing nature was on her mind. I would strongly suggest to the management that they work a little harder on making their workplace a more pleasant environment for their employees, who (hopefully) will pass that on to the customers. As it is, we felt quite unwelcome on this particular visit. Update (2024): the service was much better this time and we got our food very quickly. Everything was just as we had ordered and we were pleased with the service we received."

"Rush into Wendy's for the 4 for $4 menu, now with more choices. All jokes aside, this Wendy's is incredibly clean and the service from the staff is always above par than what I'm used to at any fast food restaurant. I honestly believe the food at this Wendy's is freshly prepared and tastes better than other Wendy's locations!"

"Great experience at the drive-thru! I ordered a Cobb salad and it was super fresh — exactly what I needed. I also really appreciated how well everything was packed: utensils, dressing, napkins — nothing was forgotten. Quick, easy, and satisfying."

"Great customer service. I just ordered I believe one of the manager was at the drive thru serving. I asked for fresh potato wedge. This is the first place in a long period that I did not have the worker go back and forth regarding my food being made fresh from the oil. He simply asked me to please wait off to the side and he would bring it out in about five min. Great leadership helps with culture amongst a business and I hope his services are seen and also delivered by the co workers."
